Dating is tough in the world we live in. Meeting people organically is a challenge, and finding someone you are compatible with is especially difficult.
In 2020, three-in-ten U.S. adults said they have used an online dating site and 12% married or were in committed relationships with someone they met online.
And nothing is more awkward or nerve-racking than meeting a stranger for a first date, and try hold a conversation for a few hours while hoping to form a connection.
While I’m the type of person who could handle a conversation on just about any topic, for hours — I know it’s not that easy for everyone.
When you’re dating to marry especially, you want to make sure you ask your future partner the right questions, ensuring you’re both on the same page.
Time is precious and while spending five years in a relationship with the someone who you think is the one, is fairly common — knowing the answers to these deep, yet important questions upfront can be even more helpful.
And yes … still ask about their favorite movie, and what they do for a living, but spice up your conversation with these 8 questions. Use them if you wish, or don’t.
